Even the Animals blends dusky Americana with softly gritty indie rock. The bands name comes from it's own achingly pretty waltz-noir "Love and loss"
The songs are lyrically driven with shared harmonies transcending the standard take on contemporary and traditional folk music creating an atmosphere that is both bitter sweet and cacophonous.
Newly released single "Strangers" was recorded with Howard Lovette at Studio South in Evans Georgia and is an intimate study of the human condition. A sonnet of the collective story that all people have been writing forever.
